Oriental Outings 2011

Bali can go this ugly if there is no Nyepi!
We took a three weeks break early this year (March 2011) and visited Singapore, Bali, Peninsular Malaysia, and Sri Lanka. The troupe consisted of Misha (our first and then 11 month daughter), Urooba (wife), and self.
Highlights of the trip included:

1) the crazy Ogoh-Ogoh festival in Bali,

2) a traditional Malay wedding in Cameron Highlands,

3) Pakistan-Australia World Cup match live at Premadasa Cricket Stadium, Colombo, and

4) Pinnewela Elephant Orphanage,

Back from the trip, I started documenting the trip on my blog, rather slowly. You are most welcome to visit and comment:
